Shipping — FedEx, insurance, customs
Every shipment goes FedEx International Priority with full Declared Value Coverage and signature on delivery. Packaging is discreet (no 'gold' markings). Delivery is 1-3 business days. Buyer is responsible for any destination-country VAT or import duty.

How long does delivery take?+
FedEx International Priority: 1 business day to the US East Coast, 2-3 business days everywhere else FedEx delivers. We print the label within 24 hours of payment confirmation, so total quote-to-doorstep is typically 2-4 business days.
Is the package marked as gold?+
No. The outer packaging is plain and neutral — no 'gold', 'silver', or 'precious metals' labels. The customs declaration is accurate (we cannot lie to customs) but uses HS codes (7108.12 for gold bullion, 7106.91 for silver, 7118.90 for legal-tender coins) rather than plain-language descriptions.
Is signature required on delivery?+
Yes, on every shipment. FedEx will attempt delivery up to three times. If unsuccessful, the package is held at the local FedEx office for pickup with photo ID. We never authorize 'leave at door'.
What insurance is included?+
FedEx Declared Value Coverage at the full retail value of your order (capped around $50,000 per package on most lanes). For orders above $25,000, we add a supplemental Lloyd's of London policy. The insurance line item on your order (0.4% of subtotal, capped at $200) covers both.
What if FedEx loses my package?+
Report non-delivery within 48 hours of the last tracking update. We open a FedEx claim immediately and, for orders above $25k, also file with our Lloyd's broker. Refund is issued in your original cryptocurrency once the claim resolves (typically 14-30 days).
What about customs duties?+
The recipient is responsible for any import VAT or duty levied at the destination. EU investment-grade gold (≥99.5%) is VAT-exempt; silver is generally taxable. FedEx will invoice the recipient for any VAT/duty plus a brokerage fee on delivery. See the country-specific guides for details.
Which countries do you ship to?+
60+ countries. Full list at /shipping. Blocked: sanctioned (Russia, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Syria, Belarus) plus customs-impossible (India, Brazil, Turkey, China). Restricted (case-by-case): Argentina, Egypt, Nigeria, Lebanon, Indonesia, Vietnam, Morocco.
Can I ship to a PO box?+
No. FedEx Priority International does not deliver to PO boxes. Use a physical street address.
Can I track my shipment?+
Yes. FedEx tracking number is emailed to you within 24 hours of payment confirmation. Track at fedex.com or via the FedEx mobile app. If you provided a PGP key in the order notes, the email is encrypted.
What if I'm not home for delivery?+
FedEx attempts up to 3 deliveries. After that, the package is held at the local FedEx office for 5 business days. Bring your photo ID + the order reference. After 5 days unclaimed, the package returns to us — return shipping plus a 1% restocking fee is deducted from the refund.
