Argor-Heraeus
Argor-Heraeus is a Swiss-German precious-metals refiner in Mendrisio, Ticino, founded in 1951. It is an LBMA Good Delivery refiner. Its KINEBAR bars feature a holographic security feature — a rainbow-shimmering strip embedded in the bar surface that is impossible to counterfeit by 3D printing.
Argor-Heraeus is jointly owned by Heraeus Group (Germany) and Commerzbank. It refines and produces gold, silver, platinum, and palladium bars, with annual output measured in hundreds of tonnes.
The KINEBAR — a kinetic holographic security feature on the bar surface — is Argor-Heraeus's flagship innovation. The rainbow holographic strip catches the light differently from each angle and remains a leading anti-counterfeit technology.
Argor-Heraeus bars carry the lowest per-ounce premiums in the Ounceo catalog (2.5% on the 1 kg bar) because of their wholesale scale.
